LOL… I guessed right, but I had no idea what the painting styles were all about. It was fun researching this and learning. 🙂

Gongbi is the meticulous style where every detail matters. Xieyi is the opposite, often translated as freehand style. Bai Miao just outlines the objects.

So I learned! 🙂 I enjoyed my morning, exploring Chinese art. I found that I really like the “Bai Miao” style.
