Yes, I have my Inktober prompts a bit askew, but eventually they’ll all be straightened out as I continue having fun with my “doodle monsters” and other weird creations this month.
For my Wednesday morning drawing, I used exhausted as my prompt word and — after browsing a bit for ideas on how to pose an exhausted monster — I came up with this little guy.
His official classification is Monsterus lazitatus of the Doodlae family. These monsters are very lazy, moving only when hungry. This fellow has just eaten, and the effort left him exhausted.
Now, while he rests, I’m off to doodle a few more monsters.
Love the name in pseudo-Latin. Lol
in real Latin the name would be monstrum otiosi.
I like your name better. 🙂

LOL thanks! It is fun to make up names. Glad to know what the “real” name would be.

Yes, it is! My best friend and I , in high school, used to create monster profiles based on ex boyfriends lol . I think I have the profiles somewhere in one on my high school boxes .
