One of the reasons I’ve mixed up my Inktober prompts a bit is because I wanted to have chicken as my prompt for October 8 — our “Draw a Bird” Day. I’m not sure if my Chicken Doodle Monster really counts as a bird or not, but… well, why not!
Like yesterday’s doodle monster, this weird-looking chicken-like fellow was a lot of fun to draw. Again, I browsed around for a few ideas and then sat down with my notebook and let my imagination go.

For educational purposes — said with tongue in cheek — I’m classifying this as Monsterus chickenas from the Doodlae family. Hey, I want to have fun with Inktober! Creating silly drawings and making up names for them seems like a great way to do just that.
Be watching for more doodle monsters coming up!
Love it! You should use this drawing for a painting! Look so cool!

I was thinking about making a few doodle monsters that I could color in with my computer “paint” program. It would really be fun to make them bright and colorful.

Yes! Do that!

Also, I would use the drawing you have and use maybe markers or even acrylic paint…

I’ve been playing around a lot with monsters LOL. Some are OK, some are awful! But making monsters really is fun this time of year.

Cannot wait to see your drawings of monsters. Playing around with monsters is therapeutic. keeping the demons insides us is never okay. better play with them and make them kind and harmless. 🙂

Hmmm… interesting point. Maybe that’s why I drew “Exploding Brain Boy” yesterday. Sometimes that’s how I feel. LOL

You could scan the drawing and then go all kinds of place! But I’m telling you, you have a way with lines and ink. Just saying.

It started last year when I did my dragon. I really enjoyed making all the lines and designs. Now I’ve discovered that I can incorporate some of those ideas into “doodle monsters”, so I’m enjoying Inktober a lot more now.
