I had to grab the camera and start snapping photos. I had another post scheduled for today, but it can wait. I wanted to share Carsen and show off his fun little rainbow painting. I love doing art with all the little ones. I think we’re going to have a “fingerpaint party” next week since school is out now. I like to take rolls of paper, cover the picnic table, and then we all just have fun. Me, included.

Oh, yes. Blue is his favorite color. When I make popsicles, the first question is always, “Are they blue?”

Several of the older grandkids are very artistic. I think Carsen might be showing a little aptitude for art, too.

We have 9 grands and one great-grand. They’re all showing different creative abilities. We have dancers, a writer, several artists, and quite a few musicians. We have fun getting together for creative projects.

Sounds like you have a creative bunch and I bet it is fun to get together for creativity. I have three grandchildren…two boys and a girl. My oldest grandson is a big reader and loves art.

Yes, they’re quite a creative, imaginative group, and I hope to be a positive influence in their lives. Of course, I learn a lot from them.

He was very vocal about the colors he wanted to use. His mother tried making a few suggestions, and he promptly told her that he was painting the colors he wanted. So there, Mom!
