So Sad to Hear This

I was so sad when this announcement came up in my Facebook feed:

“While it’s never easy to deliver this kind of news, this decision was made due to economic strain within the industry that makes it difficult for all of us at Cheap Joe’s to continue to provide the services our customers have come to expect.

“We want to express our heartfelt thanks to our loyal customers, employees, and partners who have been a part of our journey,” said Joseph Miller, CEO of Cheap Joe’s. While this chapter closes, the journey was a great one, and we will be forever grateful.”

Cheap Joe’s has been one of my favorite “go-to” places for art supplies. Joe passed away some time ago, and now his store is closing, as well. Truly a sad, sad day for the art community.
